Join our instructor, Stanette Amy – the granddaughter of an Ojibwe medicine woman, Keewaydinoquay, to learn traditional, herbal medicine and philosophy. Keewaydinoquay was apprenticed to her own herbal teacher in Northern Michigan. She also attended the University of Michigan and did her PhD work in Ethnobotany (the use of plants by indigenous peoples) and taught at the universities of Michigan and Wisconsin. Stanette is grateful for the nearly 40 years of training she received from her grandmother and is excited to share her knowledge about Foraging Native Plants for food and medicine!

Experienced potters are invited to enjoy uninterrupted studio time, working at their own pace on the clay project of their choosing. Each participant will receive 10 lbs of clay, access to basic pottery tools, and sufficient glaze for their creations. The session will be divided into two classes: the first for hand-building your piece, and the second for glazing. This exclusive studio session is reserved for individuals who have completed Clay Creations classes or possess a solid understanding of the basics of pottery.

Grab your family and get ready to hit the trail searching for hidden eggs! Have a picture taken with Mr. Bunny along the way. We will even have stops just for the dogs of the family too. They can sniff out their own hidden eggs along the way.
Make sure to wear shoes that can withstand walking in the woods. Hunting will be held rain or shine, so please dress weather appropriate.
We provide a bag for the number of egg hunters (children/dogs) you select during registration. Bags are required to collect their findings. Eggs will be filled with candy and toys which may not be appropriate for those under 3 years and may contain peanuts.
Dog eggs will be filled with various types of treats. Dogs must be with an adult 18 years and older. Dogs must always remain on a 6-foot leash. One dog per handler. Two dogs allowed per time slot. If you wish to have more than two dogs, you must register for multiple time slots. (Again, one dog per handler (Handler = person/adult 18 years and up).

During this 6-week program players will be introduced to the fundamentals of pickleball which consists of stroke techniques, singles and doubles basic strategies, serving, scoring and positioning. We will accomplish these objectives through dead and live ball drills, point play and actual game playing. Pickleball is a great workout and social experience. Participants may sign up for both sessions for extra practice. Pre-Registration is required.
