Work continues on KCI sewer project

DAVISON TWP., Mich. – A contractor will be placing pipes on Lapeer Rd. west of Irish Rd. starting on Friday, January 16. Weather permitting, the work is expected to be complete at the end of February. There will not be any lane closures, however, motorists are advised to drive safely around construction workers.

Shoulder work on Lapeer Rd.

DAVISON TWP., Mich. – The Genesee County Road Commission will be working on the shoulder of Lapeer Rd. between Oak Rd. and Russell Alger Dr. on Monday, November 17 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Flaggers will be controlling traffic. Motorists should allow additional time to reach their destination.

Asphalt replacement on Gale Rd.

DAVISON TWP., Mich. – The Genesee County Road Commission will be paving over a cross culvert on Gale Rd. between Lapeer Rd. and Court St. on Friday, November 14 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. The road will be closed to all traffic. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route.

Paving Operations in Davison Township

DAVISON TWP., Mich. – The Genesee County Road Commission will be paving the following roads in Davison Township this week:
Tuesday, October 21: Oak Rd. between Lapeer Rd. and Davison Rd. (8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.) (about 400 feet will be paved)
Wednesday, October 22: Lapeer Rd. between Oak Rd. and Russell Alger Dr. (8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) (prep for paving)
Thursday, October 23: Lapeer Rd. between Oak Rd. and Russell Alger Dr. (8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.)
The roads will be closed to thru traffic. Motorists should allow additional time to reach their destination.

Stonebrook Estates & Lombarda Woods Street projects begin

DAVISON TWP., Mich. – The Genesee County Road Commission will begin its Stonebrook Estates and Lombarda Woods Subdivision projects on Wednesday, August 13. Stonebrook Estates is expected to be completed by the beginning of September. Lombarda Woods is expected to be completed by the beginning of November.
Residents will be able to access their homes during construction. There may be temporary delays during paving. Please move objects from the right of way so that the contractor can work quickly and efficiently.
