Field Inspections

The Davison Township Assessor will be conducting field inspections of properties to verify assessing information and maintain accurate property record cards. This is pursuant to State Tax Commission guidelines that recommend Assessors should annually inspect at least 20% of properties in the municipality. THIS WILL NOT IMPACT YOUR PROPERTY TAXES.

Free Residential Latex Paint Recycling

The Genesee County Metropolitan Planning Commission (GCMPC) is excited to announce a free latex paint recycling program that is available to Genesee County residents. Through this program, residents can drop-off their used latex paint at the Genesee County Habitat for Humanity ReStore during regular business hours. Latex paint collected at the ReStore is picked up and processed into a new paint by American Paint Recyclers. Cans of the new EcoTone Paint are then sold at the ReStore.

Since 2022, over 1,750 gallons of latex paint have been recycled through this program. By properly disposing of these materials, residents support Genesee County’s priority of healthy, livable, and safe communities by safeguarding human health, protecting the environment, and promoting sustainable practices.

See the attached flyer for details. If you have questions about the program, please contact the Recycle Hotline at (810) 762-7744 or email Recycle@geneseecountymi.gov
